If you register early, you can benefit from the early-bird rate until 30 June 2026. Below is an overview of the participation conditions and fees:
Attendance by day
Day 1 (Thu, 22 Oct 2026): free of charge
Day 2 (Fri, 23 Oct 2026): fee required
Attendance on both days: partially fee-based (the fee applies to Day 2)

Early Bird (registration by 30 June 2026):
Students: € 65,-
Non-students: € 145,-
FH JOANNEUM staff (reduced rate): € 65,-
Standard (registration from 30 June 2026 onward):
Students:€ 95,-
Non-students: € 195,-
FH JOANNEUM staff (reduced rate): € 95,-
FH JOANNEUM students attend free of charge.
Included in the price
The registration fee includes publication of contributions in the conference proceedings, as well as lunch and coffee breaks on Day 2.

The AIS26 will take place on October 22nd and 23rd, 2026 at FH JOANNEUM in Kapfenberg.

🚆🚌 Train & Bus
Train:
The nearest train station is “Kapfenberg Fachhochschule” (regional trains), approximately a 6-minute walk away.
The main train station Kapfenberg Bahnhof is about 3.3 km away (approximately 45 minutes on foot).
Bus:
Bus lines 1, 23, 24, 25, and 180 stop nearby, for example at “Kapfenberg Fachhochschule Ost”, which is only a 1-minute walk from FH JOANNEUM.
🚗 Car
Motorway access:
The S6 (Semmering Expressway) is the main route to the Kapfenberg region.
The nearest motorway exit depends on your direction of travel, e.g. Bruck an der Mur / Kapfenberg via the S6.
Parking: Free parking is available on site at the campus.
Accommodation
For participants of the AI Summit Kapfenberg, a room allotment of up to 20 single rooms has been reserved at each of two hotels under the booking code “AI Summit (Kapfenberg)”. Please use the code when making your reservation.
